You see the link Jesus Christ! [dead ebay link removed] and immediately pause. Do I really want to see what's after the jump? Why not? And then, the image below. Gave me the biggest smile I've had all week. I wonder what Vallejo's Buddha might look like? (via goldenfiddle)

The picture I just saw is not right. Jesus did not break the cross and he sure didnt have big ripped muscles like shown in that picture. I ask that the picture be romoved immediatley its sending the wrong message to kids!!! Thanks even if you don't cooperate!!
Sweet pic of Jesus. That's exactly how I pictured him.
ps. I think incorrect spelling sends a worse message to kids than a picture of a ripped Jesus.
As a Bible college graduate I must say that is the best picture of Jesus I've ever seen. What a great message to send to kids! Look at what the Son of God could have done. But he chose not to so that you could have eternal life. Fabulous...simply fabulous
stupid
that is the best pic of jesus i have ever seen. i have done much research on the subject, and my studies prove that that is exactly what jesus looked like! i asked a jew to help fund my experiment, and he also did some research, and he agrees with me. so if a jew thinks its true, it has got to be!
I bet he could break Holy wallnuts between those buns...
p.s. I'd so nail that 2007 year old ass!
Now thats the Jesus I remember WOOWEE!
p.s. I'd so nail that 2007 year old ass!
i'd name this picture god almighty!!
this is terrible
Yaa jesus was very powerful man. I was tired of seeing the fragile pictures of jesus everywhere. and want to see jesus with very vast smile
(from a purely artistic point of view)Hmm, something about the head doesn't seem to fit with that body. Can't pinpoint the reason but I think it is the scale.
As I am not Christian I am not against this representation of Christ.
All you so called Christian critics have got it all wrong. What we typically see depicted of the crucifixion, a humble and broken man, is what was seen on this earthly plane. But... what this image is depicting is what happened on the spiritual plane. The cross was not an instrument of death but a tool in the hand of God to bring us eternal freedom FROM the cross and eternal punishment. I like it.
Kick ass! Anybody who doesn't like this pic needs to drink a gallon of prune juice! Jesus can shoot lightning out of his hands and fly!

It's called artistic license and metaphor. You say Jesus isn't strong? Wow! I'd say THAT's sending the wrong message to kids and maybe your comment should be removed. Art does not always imitate life exact and word for word. A massive physique like that and him splintering the cross I don't believe is meant to be taken as he LITERALLY was like that physically. It shows his strength to overcome the burden placed on him in order to save the world. I've seen an image of Him before that was so gorgeous, He was holding up a modern day man who was overcome with sorrow and sin, and Jesus's hands were intentionally painted oversized to put emphasis on his strength. They didn't look awkward or disproportioned even though they were too big for normal, they looked strong and powerful.
I agree with the person who says this is what Christ could have done, he could have came down from the cross at any moment. Fot all others who make statements such as I am tired of seeing the weak Jesus on the cross everywhere once I like to see him with a smile, under what pretenses was he supposed to smile, the part where they were spitting on him or the part where he was dying. About sendinf the wrong message to kids, they can't be sent the wrong messages if the parents are doing their Job. I say the pic was a little over done, for it takes away from what actually happened, but I can see the symbolism in it
